Ronald M. Abramson, Esq. is the Managing Partner of Wolpoff & Abramson, LLC. As Managing Partner of the legacy operations, he grew Wolpoff & Abramson to more than 1,200+ employees nationwide with law offices in 22 states. As Managing Partner, Mr. Abramson was responsible for overseeing more than 20 million client legal referrals comprising $20 billion of claims from some of the largest banking and retailing clients in the United States. He subsequently served as Managing Partner of W&A Law Partners and oversaw more than $1 billion of referrals from his clients.
Mr. Abramson has a storied history as a highly skilled trial litigator, losing only 3 out of more than 300 career trials. He is regularly consulted on by other law firms across the United States with regard to the most effective trial practices.
Mr. Abramson has taught at numerous schools including the American University Washington College of Law, the District of Columbia School of Law and University of Colorado.
In addition, Mr. Abramson has testified before state legislatures and served numerous times as an expert witness before both state and federal courts with regard to attorney professional standards. He was honored with a declaration as a “model attorney” by a federal court.
Over the course of 20 years, Mr. Abramson has served as the Vice-Chairman of the Maryland Attorney Grievance Peer Review Committee as well as Vice-Chairman of the Inquiry Panel evaluating attorney professional conduct for the state bar. He has also prevailed in numerous appellate cases and became the youngest attorney to ever file and argue a case before the Supreme Court of Maryland.
Mr. Abramson is also regularly called upon by other trial attorneys nationwide for his considerable trial skills, resulting in very large jury verdicts and sizable out of court settlements from adversaries unwilling to test his trial skills and tactics in the courtroom.
Mr. Abramson was an honors (cum laude) graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. where he placed 2nd in the law school’s Upper Class Moot Court competition as well as placing 4th in the nation in a nationally televised event. He trained under some of the best trial attorneys in the country including the famed Barry Helfand, Esq. who was selected as one of the Top 100 trial lawyers in the United States. Post doctorate, Mr. Abramson attended Harvard Law School’s Program of Instruction for Lawyers training under some of the most renowned law professors and trial lawyers in the nation including Alan Dershowitz, Esq. and Arthur Miller, Esq.

Stuart Wolpoff is the Chairman of Wolpoff & Abramson, LLC, a nationally renowned litigation firm. He has over thirty (30) years of experience managing law firm operations, including at the legacy Wolpoff & Abramson where he helped oversee law office operations in 22 states, ultimately growing the firm to over 2,000 employees nationwide after a merger.
In his role at Wolpoff & Abramson, Stuart Wolpoff gained the trust of many Fortune 500 companies who became clients of the law firm including Bank of America, Chase Bank, Exxon, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, Home Depot, Lowe’s and Target, among many others.
Mr. Wolpoff is also President and Chairman of Wolpoff Ventures, a private family office headquartered in the Washington, DC area. Wolpoff Ventures has interests in multiple industries including mortgage origination, re-bundling of consumer credit data, consumer and business lending, internet lead generation, receivables management and receivables purchasing, renewable energy, emerging technologies, real estate and medical device manufacturing.
As an industry leader, Mr. Wolpoff, through his Wolpoff Ventures brand, also provides C-level coaching and business direction consultation to numerous start-up and ongoing businesses. Throughout his consultative career, Mr. Wolpoff has been able to provide tremendous value as consultant first and an investor second by looking at organizations from the bottom up, not the top down. He has a keen eye for expense management and finding talent from within the organization that needs to be groomed for higher and larger roles within the company. He has found that by using a formula called “chunking” he can help executive leaders and business owners become more effective in their daily routines.
Mr. Wolpoff also serves as the current Chairman of Independence Receivables Corporation, MD, a Partner in All Credit Considered Mortgage and a Partner in Bethany Finance LLC, based in in Rockville, MD. Mr. Wolpoff has also served as Co-Chairman of NexGen Energy Partners in Boulder, CO.
Since 1997, Mr. Wolpoff has held numerous Board of Directors seats, in both private and public companies, including Seneca One, clearOne Advantage, Kash King, United Credit Recovery, Rapid Finance and Credit Trust (CRDT). Mr. Wolpoff is an active member of two highly successful angel investing groups – Boston Harbor Angels and The Investors Collaborative.
